Skillet

Alternative CCM rockers Skillet formed in Memphis, Tennessee, around the nucleus of lead singer and bassist John Cooper, guitarist Ken Steorts, and drummer Trey McClurkin. Debuting in 1996 with a self-titled LP, the trio returned two years later with Hey You, I Love Your Soul. Invincible followed in early 2000, and the group contributed three tracks to the Ardent Worship: Skillet Live compilation that same year. With a new lineup of Cooper on bass and lead vocals, his wife Korey Cooper on guitar and keyboards, Ben Kasica on guitar, and Lori Peters on drums, Skillet released Alien Youth on Ardent Records in 2001, followed by Collide, also on Ardent, in 2003. The latter album was then picked up by Lava/Atlantic and reissued the following year with a bonus track. Collide went on to be the band's best-selling album to date (even earning them a Grammy nomination), and the band supported the record on tours with bands like Saliva and Shinedown. Skillet's next effort for the label, Comatose, appeared in fall 2006, followed by Awake in 2009, and Rise in 2013. A compilation album, Vital Signs, was released in 2014 to introduce the band to European audiences. Skillet's ninth album, Unleashed, their heaviest and most powerful to date, followed in 2016.

Lecrae

An unlikely story stands behind the man known to many as Lecrae. From the south side of Houston, to a leader in the movement of urban reform, a rocky road provides a window into the grace he experienced through out his life--with every situation molding him into the artist and leader that he is today. Born and raised by his mother, in a poor community, Lecrae Moore moved around a lot, giving him the versatile background and cultural awareness he carries with him. San Diego, Denver, and Dallas have once been home to him and the street life he idolized and pursued. Along the way, like many in the inner city, he took to rapping as a way of communicating his thoughts. It wasn’t until after high school that his hobby became a passion, and Jesus Christ redeemed his Hip-Hop background.

Crowder

David Crowder was a student at Baylor University when his musical career began. With Baylor being a Christian college, David was surprised to find out that many of the students didn't attend church. His remedy? He started one with a friend named Chris Seay! University Baptist Church was born in 1995 to make church (and Jesus) something the 20-something students would not just come to and enjoy, but relate to. Signed to Sixsteps/Sparrow records in 2002, the band had a 10-year run, winning 14 Dove Awards, before retiring in 2012. While David knew that the David Crowder*Band was over, he knew that God still had musical plans for his future. The idea for Crowder and for Neon Steeple was birthed in the jump seat on the tour bus during their last tour as David Crowder*Band.

Tenth Avenue North

The Dove Award-winning band’s fourth studio album, aptly titledC athedrals, is a collection of well-crafted songs that inspire community, encourage accountability and celebrate the fact we are not alone. "So many of us live in isolation and we really don't have to," says lead vocalist Mike Donehey. "So the idea is: 'Hey get in the boat with us, sail by the stars of God’s promises and reach the shore of community.' We realize that when we start to live together, we become the cathedrals on earth. We are the place where the sprit resides. It no longer dwells in buildings but in each of us."

Newsong

Newsong started out 30 years ago as a 9 member church band for Morningside Baptist Church in Valdosta, GA, never imagining that they would still be together in 2010. Founding member, Billy Goodwin, explains the group's faith attitude, "The commitment that we made was, 'God, we'll do this as long as Your hand is on it, as long as we see You working.' One of the joys in my walk has been learning that God is faithful even when things look impossible." Throughout the years, and changes in the group, they have had 17 #1 singles, six Gospel Music Association Dove Award nominations, numerous songwriting awards, and five of the Top 100 Christian radio singles of the past decade. They are known for their songs, "Arise, My Love," "Miracles," "Jesus To The World (Roaring Lambs), and "The Christmas Shoes," which is also the title of their first Christmas Album.

Moriah Peters

Moriah Peter’s sophomore release is a powerful collection of anthemic and melodic pop songs that challenge us to boldly live out our faith as Christians. At 21 she delivers a cutting edge, energetic sound that confidently carries a message that resonates with both the young and young at heart. Those familiar with her debut release, “I Choose Jesus,” will recognize her distinctive vocals and be delighted by her musical evolution. Co-producers Seth Mosley (Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline) and Joel Smallbone (For King & Country) closely collaborated with Moriah in creating a musical experience that is an artful blend of theatrical string lines, dynamic percussion, and pulsating synth sounds all seamed together by unforgettable Pop melodies.

JoRDAN Howerton Band

This high energy band from Missouri is passionate about leading teens in worship. "Worship is the unending act of us giving ourselves to the things that carry the most worth in our lives. It's not about a moment, it's about a consistent relationship. We worship what we're most passionate about, so we want our worship to be all about Jesus
